The Newton bed frame by the Amish company, Shrock, is a solid cherry wood frame with built-in horizontal slats for support. Made in the classic Shaker style, this frame is minimalist and timeless, durably constructed to last a lifetime. Where the mattress sits on the frame’s slats is 15 inches from the ground. Under the bed has 11 inches of clearance. The frame has a lip of 1 inch to prevent the mattress from slipping off, making the total height of the frame just over 16 inches.
